What is UCTrust?

From the University of Caliornia Identity Management Federation home page:

UCTrust was created by the Information Technology Leadership Council on April 17, 2006 as the basis for a unified identity and access management infrastructure for the University of California system. UCTrust enables authorized campus individuals to use their local campus electronic credential to gain access, as appropriate, to participating services (Resource Providers) throughout the UC system. UCTrust is based on industry standard technologies and a common set of identity attributes and identity management practices.

Membership in UCTrust requires a Statement of Compliance with the the requirements outlined in UCTrust University of California Identity Management Federation Service Description and Polices.

UCTrust @ UCR

UCR's membership in UCTrust simplifies access to system-wide resources, allowing logins to these systems (e.g. At Your Service Online, the upcoming UCTravel System, and the upcoming UC Learning Management System). Membership in UCTrust also assures that UCR is compliant with system-wide security and identity management standards and policies.
